Located at the corner of Velvet Street and Mill Road in North Haven, this 1.21 acre property was the former location of the Potwine Mill. A granite block foundation of the old mill is all that remains along the river bank as a reminder of the property’s ancient history. Deeded to the North Haven Land Trust on January 8, 1981 by the Regional Water Authority, this property provides a scenic picture of the Muddy River in its many seasonal displays. While there is not an active trail access is possible down steep banks on both sides of the river.
