The 5.95 acre property was donated to the North Haven Land Trust by Stephen J. Papa Sr. on April 20, 1994. The site is located off Jennifer Drive and Stephe Court. The donated land was part of the Bishop Ridge housing project that was developing at that time. The site was named “ Bernadette Park” after the name of Mr. Papa’s daughter. The parcel sits on the left side of Jennifer Drive and follows around behind the existing home sites through to Stephen Court. Tall stands of native trees populate the area and support an active wildlife habitat. There is no active trail system but access is possible.
